Meet The Owners

Brian and Tom have been independent businessmen in northern California for over 20 years, starting in the automotive industry working for a manufacturer of diagnostic equipment. This role led them to thousands of auto repair shops across the country, helping them to streamline their day-to-day operations.

Through this experience, it became evident what consumers wanted; a clean environment staffed by friendly professionals, fast service, and fair pricing. While it sounds simple, it is not the reality of the majority.

With that in mind, Smog King was founded in 2003. Since then, thousands of customers have experienced a new level of service in the smog check industry and come to appreciate the integrity that comes along with it.
